Our 2023 Eventful Summer Camps are finally here! From coding to 3D Art, nature camps to rock climbing, whether your child is a LEGO lover or Disney fan, a science enthusiast or a little creator, we have it covered! Check our weekly themes below and the daily schedule.

Camp Hours: 9 am – 4 pm

AM Extended Care: 8:30 am – 9 am

Camp Themes

June 19 -23

Morning Theme

Little Designer

Time to bring your favorite graphics to life! Children will be creating their own T-shirts, caps, and umbrellas, and more in this camp. From drafting out a deign to printing production, they will get to create something unique and trendy. Be ready to walk out with your amazing design this summer!

Afternoon Theme

AI 4 All & Coding Intro

Hands-on programming projects, ignite interests in coding;  Introduction to artificial intelligence & machine learning; Explore AI & ML applications and tools;  Team engineering projects; Road map towards future development in STEM; KG-G2 (Level 1); G3-G5 (Advanced)

June 26 - 30

Morning Theme 1

Little Scientist Pt 1

Children will be learning different scientific topics like astronomy, chemistry, and physics in this camp. By doing different science experiments each day, they will be surprised to discover more about the elements around them as well as how certain substances react in different conditions. Not only does it trigger their curiosity and excitement about our planet, it also helps them make more sense of their surroundings.

Morning Theme 2

Rock Climbing

Children will get a chance to experience the fun of rock climbing at Movement Gyms Sunnyvale. It is a grand and well-equipped facility. Their professional instructors will teach the children basic climbing techniques and steps. Either your child is a first-timer or not, they will be able to try out this activity safely with proper instructions and equipment. Parents will drop children off at the gym directly and we will have drivers taking them back to One Stop Learning Center afterwards ($50 weekly transportation fee). Afternoon Theme 

3D Art

Be ready to step into the 3-dimensional world with us! If you are getting bored with painting and drawing on a flat surface, this camp will bring you to the next level of art form. We will be building and making all kinds of 3D puzzles, pop-up books, 3D origami projects, and more. Not only will you get to enjoy the excitement of putting something together that stands out, you will also be able to “wow” your friends with your masterpieces on your next play day.

School Field Trip

July 10 - 14

Morning Theme 1

Nature Adventure (field trip)

What plants can you grow in summer? What should you do when you encounter a mountain lion during a hike? How can we reduce the amount of trash that we make? This camp will spark children’s curiosity and respect for nature as they learn about different parts of the ecosystem. We will cover topics like plants, wildlife, and Eco friendliness. It is an amazing opportunity for them to step away from the classroom and explore around in an educational way. Children can also enjoy fresh air and outdoor activities when spending the morning at ranches and parks.

As many individuals struggle with writing in their college life and career, it is essential to ignite children’s passion and skills in writing during their early years. This camp inspires children to become creative and successful writers. It covers several fun writing practices and drafting that will lead to a story-making project. Children will be guided to design their themes, plots, and characters during class discussions. They will also learn how to give helpful feedbacks to each other during peer revisions. At the end of the camp, they will be taking home a well written story of their own.

July 17 - 21

Morning Theme

Cardboard Mechanic

This camp will introduce mechanical logic through multiple cardboard projects like cardboard robot hands and marble maze. Students will be able to combine their creativity and mechanical building skills. Through a process of measuring, cutting, and assembling, they will be transforming simple carboard pieces and materials into playful projects.

July 24 - 28

Morning Theme

Little Chef Pt 1

Children will be making a variety of cultural dishes like pizza, sushi, dumplings, spring rolls, etc. They will learn about different ingredients, food handling process, and specific techniques for each dish. By triggering children’s interest in cooking, this experience can serve as fun hobby and a helpful life skill. They will also expend their cultural knowledge and be more open minded to try out different types of food. As they are given a chance to taste their own productions after a process of preparation, not only will it give them a sense of personal achievements, it will also increase their appreciation for those who prepare meals for them daily.

Afternoon Theme

LEGO & Robotics

We know that our children love to play with LEGO during their play time! As they coordinate in groups during this camp, they will be working on a much bigger project - building a LEGO town. It encourages them to apply their creativity and observations that they have made in their daily life. They will also be taking part in a robot building project and try to guide the robot through the LEGO town that they build. By bringing all their designs and ideas together, they will transform their usual play time activity into a grand project.

July 31 - August 4

Disney Sing Along

Our Disney Sing Along Choral Summer Camp will definitely give a memorable summer to any Disney fans or those who simply enjoy music. The camp features multiple popular repertoire from well-known Disney movies. Children will get to refine those catchy lines in an enthusiastic environment. In addition, we will be learning and exploring vocal pedagogy. By the end of the camp, we will put together a musical and enchanted Disney medley.

August 7 - 11

Morning Theme

Academic Boot Camp

After a long and playful summer, it will be time to draw students’ attention back toward school life. Before school kicks off, we want to help students get ready through a series of academic lessons, reviews, and previews. They will be given English and Math practices so they can refresh their minds. As we prepare them academically and mentally, they are more likely to have a successful journey in the new school year.

Afternoon Theme

Little Maker

Children will be working on multiple hands-on DIY projects like clock making, sticker making, pipe cleaner art, yarn art, and metal stamping. They will get a chance to use different materials and equipment, so to expend their experience of creating things of their own. It definitely promotes creativity, aesthetics, and patience.

August 14 - 16

Day Theme

 

Academic Boot Camp

After a long and playful summer, it will be time to draw students’ attention back toward school life. Little Yogi

This camp includes yoga practices, basic anatomy facts, and mandala art. As children practice a series of asana poses and breathing exercises, not only can they increase their strength and flexibility, they will also learn to control their body and mind, such as how to calm themselves down and how to release their emotions properly. Children will be able to understand yoga not as a sport, but a lifestyle that emphasizes peace and mindfulness. It can be a lifelong practice that supports them in many ways.
